The microchannel laser stack is formed by stacking several single pieces. The inside of the monolithic is hollowed out and the laser bar is packaged inside. Each single piece has a fine circulating water path inside, which has high requirements on water quality (deionized water, particulate matter <15μm in water), excellent heat dissipation performance, long life and relatively high price.


The macro channel laser stack consists of a heat sink and several light-emitting units that are packaged onto the surface of the heat sink. The heat-dissipating water circuit is inside the heat sink, and its water quality requirements are not high (no need to deionize water, but the water particles <100μm), the price is relatively low, and the cost performance is high .

Micro-Channel Cooler Package (MCCP) is designed for high power CW diode bars up to 60W and 80W. The Micro-Channel Cooler (MCC or MC2) is a high efficiency heat-exchange heatsink. These MCCP package can provide up to >1KW CW output power from a single stack for directly heat treatment for industry, such as metal hardening, laser cladding, welding and etc. It is also widely used for hair removal applications.
